Get the celebrity look: Sonam Kapoor

Remember Sonam Kapoor at French Film Festival at Cannes in 2011? Not only Sonam’s outfit was widely appreciated but her makeup as well. Sonam marched the red carpet in a stunning white Jean Paul Gaultier gown and her makeup complimented the gown gracefully.
The look was quite festive and can be carried by almost anyone. Want to know a secret? You don’t necessarily need to visit a swanky makeup artist to get the makeup done. You need a very few products and you could easily do it yourself.
To make it even easier, I will guide you through the makeup breakdown.
First off, clearly the eyes are taking away the glory here. Usually, whenever eyes are in focus the lips and the rest of the face is kept nude and Sonam’s look was in absolute sync.

Start off with a matte base, as one can tell Sonam is wearing a matte foundation and very light bronzer below cheek bones and temples. Apply a peachy pink blush on the apple of cheeks.
On eyes, do not forget a good quality primer/ base. If you are applying a nude base, take a kohl pencil or gel liner and messily draw out your upper lash line, the line can be thick and should be smudged all over the eye lid. Now take a medium brown eye shadow and put it in the crease. Don’t forget to go back into more brown if it doesn’t appear a deep brown colour. Next take a medium black eye shadow and apply it on half the lid, remember to blend it well since another colour will go next to it. Take a blingy gold eye shadow and land it right next to the black covering the rest of the lid. Make sure you blend both the eye shadows well in the middle. Last but definitely not the least take a champagne coloured shimmery eye shadow and apply it on the tear duct area and use it as your brow highlight. Once you are done with the eye shadows, choose a gold loose glitter and pat it lightly all over the eye lid and crease area.
The eyes are done and so is the face, choose a nude brown lipstick and top if off with a long stay same shade or clear gloss and rock the party!
Tip: You can use a lip liner before using a lipstick to make it stay for a longer time.
